Kazakhstan delivers humanitarian aid with medicines to Afghanistan with the support of KazAID

Kazakhstan handed over the second tranche of humanitarian aid to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Afghanistan. The cargo, consisting of medicines, medical supplies, and personal protective equipment, was delivered by air during the official visit of the Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin.

The total weight of the humanitarian cargo was 3,396 kilograms.

The humanitarian aid was provided with the support of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development — KazAID.

Kazakhstan consistently advocates for the development of good-neighborly relations and remains committed to promoting humanitarian stability in the region.

It is worth noting that three days earlier, the first shipment of Kazakh humanitarian aid was sent to Afghanistan by rail. That shipment, totaling 2,200 tons, included vegetable oil, wheat flour, rice, winter and summer tents, and blankets.
